Saw this notice sitting in this Lotus a while ago. That disclaimer is a definitive characteristic of the brand ane is probably going to be lost with Geely’s infusion of cash into the company.
Godspeed, Lotus. May you make leaky cars for years to come!

My dad had a Jeep back in the ‘90s (YJ?) and the door handle broke off on a cold day in Ohio so he had to get in on the passenger side . He’s advised me never to buy a Jeep.
New JLs are pretty affordable though in 2-door manual form...

Cars, yes, they suck at doing what most cars are designed to do.
But drugs . As drugs, oh man are Lotuses addicting.

Just add drain plugs like a Jeep, lose the roof entirely. Live your best life!

That sticker sounds like a British car thing more than a L otus thing. That said, I absolutely love the Elise. They are for nothing but driving and they are fantastic at that.

Considering the weather, o ne would think that Brits could make a leak proof car.

I rode in a new jeep 4 door a few years ago and I was absolutely shocked by the fit, finish and road noise. I was expecting a lot of road noise, but this was insane (markedly more wind noise on the passenger side, leading me to believe fit/finish issues) . Despite all that my Uber driver said he wouldn’t buy anything else and he loves the thing. It’s exactly why Jeep is still selling vehicles, everything negative just gets put under the heading of “it’s a Jeep thing”. Yeah okay... If they cost $15k I’d be okay with that, but they cost $60k in the form I was riding.
